Very very delicious Sticky Rice with Meat wrapped in lotus Leaf for dim sum. Prices for dim sum, however, are very expensive.
So when I read the name of the restaurant I thought I was getting some Louisiana Gumbo but was pleasantly surprised to find out it's a Chinese food restaurant AND they have seafood boils. Coming from NC I was a little hesitant but WOW the flavor was incredible. I got snow crab legs, shrimp, and added sausage. It comes with corn and potatoes. We had a few different waitresses that came by the table and they were all very attentive. It's not a place to go if you are in a hurry but definitely worth the wait. It was clean and they played nice music too!
walked in and the service was so quick. the server was ready and the food came pretty fast too. the food itself was pretty standard, and the restaurant itself is cute and quiet. overall had a good experience
The servers are some of the nicest I have ever met in Ithaca! We went thinking there might be a buffet, but there was not and that was fine. The food was good and the prices were decent. I don't have much to say about the ambiance except it was clean and well-lit. Not too loud. Pleasant music.
Delicious menu with tons of variety!!! I had the seafood boils multiple times and they also have delicious Chinese food including a large variety of traditional dishes! Service is good as well.

My sons took me there last night for Father's Day. I had never had a seafood boil until last night. It had been on my bucket list for a long time. I got lobster and snow crab with andouille sausage. Corn on the cob and potatoes were part of the boil for free. It was delicious . Service was excellent. The rest of my family got vegetable lo mein and were very happy with their meals. Beer, wine and soft drinks were available too. The seafood boil wasn't cheap, but you won't find lobster and crab for cheap anywhere! It was reasonable. For $3.95 I got the butter and garlic sauce to take home so I can make my own seafood boil at home. My sons weren't excited about going to Golden Bayou. "A Chinese restaurant in a strip mall?" But they both said they'd go again! The reviews on YELP were only so so. But I looked up reviews on Google and it was rated 4.3/5.Most people were very happy. I was too! As the Terminator says, "I'll be back!"
nice place. good authentic chinese food as well as cajun seafood. Only down side being that there were so many good options to choose from and our stomachs are omly so big. lol would come again to try more things
